About us
The Neighborhood Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. We are a Jesus-centered, biblically grounded, Spirit-filled body of believers who are optimistic about the ways in which God's grace can transform a heart and life through and through. You can learn more about the Church of the Nazarene here.

We believe each local expression of the body of Christ ought to reflect the actual pattern of Jesus' life. Our desire is that the natural rhythm and character of The Neighborhood Church would give faithful expression to the life of Jesus we see described in the gospels and in passages like Philippians 2:5-11. In these texts, we find a picture of Jesus who loves by serving others, who doesn't hang on to position and privilege, and who empties himself in love for each one of us. We want our church to be like him.

For these reasons, we do our best to be one potential answer to the question, "What would it look like if a church stopped making decisions based on its own survival, and instead based those same decisions around giving itself away in love?"

There's nothing that can take the place of a visit. If you're looking for a place to explore faith in Jesus, grow deeper in that faith, or if you just need a place to be loved and belong, we'd love to partner with you in your journey.
